Getting to Know You!

My Dear Readers,

My dad and I went to a music conference this weekend and it was so fun!! I learned so much and got to socialize with really cool people. I got to take classes about media, writing and of course, marketing. The music industry has changed so much in the last five years that old ways of doing things don't really serve the fans or the artists. I loved all of the classes and learned things that will really benefit our fans.

About three days into the conference I felt a huge sense of gratitude for our fans. We have wonderful fans and it became clear to me that I don't know you guys as well as I would like to. I think you guys are pretty neat, and love reading your feedback and comments on Facebook, YouTube and on blog posts.  If you have not already, please like us on Facebook. That is where I put up the most current information and you can directly write to us.  http://www.facebook.com/ShantiShanti108. But I also came up with a short survey to get more information from you.  The responses I have been getting have been surprising. Please fill it out as I am excited to read you responses. http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/6NHYDKR This will help us so much and we really appreciate it.

My dad had an "aha ha moment" too. He is from an era of music where you just write what ever  you want and hope the public will like it and if they don't....too bad. Luckily my dad does care a lot about what our fans like, but during the conference he stated with such seriousness "We are in the service industry and need to tailor our service to meet the needs of the fans."  That is as huge shift from the old industry standard.

Anyway, I am so excited for this new phase of music and getting to be in conversation with our fans.

Thank you for your friendship.

In gratitude I remain,

Andrea Santos

Thanks for the update Andrea. As you get to know us from your requested survey I'm sure one common thread will be found among all your fans - you and Sarah's musical interpretation of Sanskrit is bringing us all closer to God within and without. For that you can be duly proud and know that you are fulfilling a great task here on earth. Keep growing with your music and allow what you feel best serves those you sing, write and perform for be your guide. Remember always that no matter what you're doing this for our Divine Maker. I'm sure you're bringing Him great joy. Thanks ladies. :-)
