My Dear Readers,
Sara and I are currently in production. We are excited to share with our fans the updated sound of Shanti Shanti. I spent the day in the studio recording. We are doing a remake of the Ganesh Upanishad. It has a very cool beat to it, as well as all the authentic chanting that our fans enjoy.
I have spent so much time these last few weeks at my sister and her husband's home that I am feeling rather cozy in our new grown-up lives. We fit time in for business and recording and still keep our husbands and our folks happy. I am attaching a picture of Sara and John's wedding. I waited 'til now only cause she just finally gave me a picture to post.
I expect to spend the rest of the spring and probably the summer in production as I am not seeing any attractive concert opportunities. During this quiet time we are spending it meditating, studying and recording new music. The spiritual venues will pop up, and we will book events when that happens.

Hi! I’m SO glad you have this blog. I’m one of your greatest fans and I’ve read Linda’s book about ten times and I really love it! I checked it out of our library in Minneapolis originally and read it and then found a copy in a used bookstore in Fairfield which I bought.
I found I had a few things in common with Linda. I went on the flying course too, but by the time I took flying in ’83 they were sending people home who were pregnant. So I wasn’t pregnant when I took flying and when I did get pregnant, my kids didn’t spontaneously speak Sanskrit. Oh well. ;)
When I first read Linda’s book, I think her experiences were something I yearned for. I felt myself longing for the miracles in my own life. So many times it seems as though things happen to me and they don’t all just fall into place neatly as I would like them to and as things seem to in Linda’s book. I think somewhere along the way, though I started thinking about it and realized that when I really pondered my own life and really looked deeply, I started finding many miracles of my own, though I perhaps didn’t identify them as such at the time. My miracles will never be the same as your miracles, nor should they be. But even so, I feel so happy and soft and deep when I read about your lives and how everything unfolded. I see my own kids unfolding and I’m enjoying that in the same way.
But I really LOVE languages and I love sounds. I studied languages in school and I still teach languages. I usually listen to 108 names every day, so hearing a rock band chanting Sanskrit is really a great treat for me. I LOVE hearing women chant Sanskrit. You hear a lot of nuns chanting in Latin, but you are the only two females I’ve ever heard chant in Sanskrit and you get a totally different vibe from it. I just love it.
I was so glad to hear you both got married. I saw that Andrea got married a few months after it happened because I googled you guys and then saw the picture and article in the Hind Today News. Except the first time I saw it, it didn’t list who was who in the picture. I thought that you married the guy in the middle, who actually turned out to be the Hindu statesman. I thought the guy on the end (who turned out to be your husband) resembled your father somewhat, so I was confused. I figured it out when I saw the lovely picture of you two at the altar on your blog.
One of my favorite quotes of yours, Andrea is this: “Know that the MOST important thing you can do during this time of challenge is to deepen your experience of the divine. It is the only thing that remains as this world transitions from one phase to another.” What a beautiful statement and I really take that to heart.
Anyway, I’ve followed you on myspace and love your songs on there. I can’t wait to hear your remake of Ganesh Upanishad
I’ve never seen you live. One of my friends here said that you came to Minneapolis some years back and I didn’t even know it. Oh well. I hope you come again someday. Until then I’ll be one of your greatest virtual fans.
